1947 Pontiac Torpedo

Here is a privately owned, garage kept, all original Pontiac Torpedo in VERY nice overall condition. This is a very unique body style incorporating a 2 door sedan into a fastback known as the Torpedo. The body is in great shape with no signs of rust, the floors and trunk pan are just as solid and the stainless trim, chrome and glass are near show quality. This model year featured the "Chief Pontiac" hood ornament sitting atop the 5 silver streaks running along the centerline of the hood to the base of the windshield. These stainless panels are also incorporated into the trunk. The original interior is in marginal condition needing seat cushions, seat covers and rugs to be correct. The original Motorola radio is in place. This car has never been chopped up and is a strong candidate for a "Rat Rod" build or can easily be restored to original condition.
